I recently purchased” The Brandon” 12 x 16 shed (this is a precut kit) The instructions are very easy to follow. The support is excellent. Dollar value—I couldn’t purchase the quality material in this kit locally, have it delivered ,lay it out, cut it and assemble it, for what it cost, Reynolds Building Systems turned a hard project into a very pleasurable experience. I did use a nail gun and donated any extra nails to the local high school theater group.

Attached to this message are photos of my completed Tahoe Barn Kit. I think it turned out great! Got the extra window yesterday and will install it tomorrow along with some pull down stairs for the lofts. It's been great working with you on this project. I will recommend your company to the many admirers of my building.

I love my shed I call 'The man hut". I carpeted, ran power and drywalled it. IT's like a home away from home.

As promised here are some photos of my project. I still need to add the decorative brackets, the shutters and add a small deck in front of the building and ramp. I will send a final photo or two in a few weeks whenall of that is done. For now, my body needs a rest!

I wanted to say thank you for making the Bristol 12x16 Shed Kit the way you did. My friend and his 15 year old son, my 14 year old son and myself were able to build and set it up in a little less then 3 days. It would have taken just one or two days but the heat index was around 104 degrees and we had had to "beat the heat...Drink lots of water" we also moved slower and tried to rotate in and out of the sun. Other then that issue the building itself was a snap to assemble and raise. All the measurements were right on and did not have to make any cuts, other then when we got to the sheeting on the roof. We did have to trim a few of the sheeting boards but I think it was because we were just a bit out of square and that was on our end not the ShedKitStore's. I have had several people compliment to us on how well it looked. We just say that we are good with putting models and the shedkitstore did all the cut work. All the hardware was there that we needed and the wood was straight. The measurements and instructions were easy to follow. We did not go with the wood floor kit, we installed it on a new slab of concrete. The foundation measurements that you told me "15'9"x 12' was exactly correct. Again I would like to say thank you for putting out a great product and the best price I could find, and quality supplies. If the price stays right I will be back for a garage.

We debated whether to build our shed from scratch or a kit and decided to take a chance on your Cambridge shed kit as we absolutely loved the look. We ordered our kit from you on May 31st , 2011 and our shed was totally up by mid June. We are so happy with our new shed and have had many compliments on how nice it looks. Overall it was easy to put up but we did have too much help and opinions when putting it together so the first day was rather hectic. You really do need to follow the directions precisely and you'll have no problems. A friend of ours was building a shed at the same time but built his from scratch and not a kit. It wasn't long before he realized he had made a mistake as he knows very little about building anything and one of your kits would have been perfect for him.

I just wanted to know that I appreciate your most excellent service and my wife and I are very happy with our new "Cambridge" shed. I would strongly recommend your company to anyone looking for a shed. With your guidance, bringing the shed into Canada turned out to be no problem at all. I am impressed with quality of materials and design of the shed and I estimate that it took about 100 man-hours (for three of us) to construct the kit (on a concrete slab) including all roofing and painting. I do have some suggested improvements to the assembly instructions, including several that apply to customers using a concrete slab. If you would give me an address, I could forward them to the manufacturer's attention.

Thank you for everything... and I had fun building it... had to use my own know how is some spots and the second book for the window size and placement, and a little advice from dad for the top of the roof...he is the one who suggested the ridge vent at the top... great idea for air circulation... and they only cost $1.49 each...I had to get four and cut the last one and get roof caulking to secure it...and longer roof nails (which luckily I had). You have my permission to use these pics...Thank you again for everything...

Thanks for your positive comments on my efforts. Though I am not a professional, everything I have previously constructed/renovated was strictly custom. I found the kit system fun by taking the guess work out of the project. Your assembly book was the key to the job, and was extremely valuable in getting the building started.

I recently purchased a shed from your company. I thought I would send a note letting you know how building and installing the shed went.

It took me a few weeks to complete due to all the rain I have been getting in my area, but once I got to work everything went very smooth. The instructions were very clear and everything was labeled well. Overall I am very pleased with my experience! I am also pleased with how the shed turned out and am getting many compliments on it. I have enclosed a picture of the completed shed.

I must say that I was a bit skeptical about buying a “pre-fabbed” shed; but after taking one look at this kit on the Shed Kit Store’s web site I jumped at it. This shed’s quality, ease of assembly and looks are phenomenal; not to mention the customer service, support and installation advice I received from Linda Rinella and Richard was second to none! As a “one-man” project, this kit went together fast and easy (took me about two full work days to complete) and overall I’d give this kit a 9.0 out of 10. I wholeheartedly recommend the Shed Kit Store and their products without reservation…go with them, you won’t be disappointed!

The first thing I did after receiving the kit was perform a thorough inventory of parts and study of the instructions. I’m glad I did, as I was missing a few roof panel and ridge cap screws. I also placed notes and questions in the margins of the instruction booklet and then called the customer support line (Richard) for assembly advice. He was extremely helpful as we sifted through the instruction booklet together, and he was very quick to send me the missing hardware. Absolutely top-notch service and support! Don’t be afraid to call, they stand behind their products 100% and will take the time to work through any issue.

I have to say were were very impressed with the quality of the materials, the instructions and the entire purchase process. I do have some pointers for first time shed builders if you are interested.

Went very well. Changed a couple of things, one half is lawn tractor and storage the other half now has 3 dozen chickens living in luxury. Had a lot of fun building it, AND... only 7 stitches to my thumb... not bad! Thanks!!!

I really enjoyed putting the kit together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Every thing fit together perfictly. Everyone in my neighborhood thinks I'm a pro. Obviously, I've added some extra space in the back of the shed for the riding mower after adding bracing inside. Thanks.

Our shed is wonderful! We purchased the Oakwood 10' x 12' and absolutely love it! It was delivered in a week and the build took two days with two people. The directions were easy to follow and all the materials were there. The only things we bought additional were the paint, shingles and roof vent. The photos I've enclosed are prior to paint. We haven't decided if we're going to paint it or not because we like the way it looks now! My husband made the flower boxes out of siding that was left from the build. He painted them to match the window shutters. All our neighbors are envious because we have the best looking shed in the neighborhood! Our neighbor behind us even asked where we got it and said the price was very low for such a quality building. Kudos to you and your buildings! Your customer service is superior as is this shed! Thank you again for making our shed experience enjoyable! I would recommend your services to anyone who is looking for a quality build-it-yourself shed and a very reasonable price! 1. I would give you guys a 4.8 out of 5 stars.
2. Suggestions to improve the product:
   • there was no step 3 in the instructions; - Webmasters note: ( corrected typo )
   • my kit had 4 boxes of 7D nails and one box of 10D -- I think it should have been 2 each (I had to buy a box of 10D nails -- $10.00 for 5 pounds) -- when the shed was finished, I had one box of 7D left over -- no big deal -- always nice to have nails on hand.
   • add instructions for windows -- mine had none -- none in the window box as well; and
   • throw in two tubes of silicon to seal small cracks.

The kit arrived within advised time period -- the delivery man from Home Depot was skeptical -- made us a bit nervous. Nevertheless, we were not dismayed. I am good at following directions -- directions and pictures were excellent. I am not a carpenter and the shed was fairly easy to install with three people (myself, 18 year old son, and 10 year old son). End product looks excellent! Very satisfied customer."

"Thanks for all of your support in getting the Bristol shed completed. Although we had a few rough spots with delivery I now have a 12x12 foot place to store firewood and still have enough room for a small 12x12 workshop. The way we did that was to install a dividing wall with a pocket door. The color of the shed now color matches our home. That was accomplished by using Home Depot's paint matching system by Behr Paint. That product contains nano particles which means you paint and prime at the same time. Another problem that was solved was to use some flat steel over the pre hung door so it would fit into the side of the building at the header. The drip cap for the side double doors was a small plastic u channel about eight feet long purchased at Home Depot in the sheet rock department. That was pop riveted to some step flashing and pushed up under the shingles over the door to hold it. The plastic channel was painted with brown Krylon Fusion Spray Paint which adheres to plastic so that it matches the shingles.. I also modified the false upper gable end door to become operable."
