Shell Package
The walls are shipped K.D.,
field assembly required. The pre-cut wall studs are spaced 16
on center and the bottom plate is treated. Exterior siding is LP
primed siding. Roof materials include pre-built roof trusses and
end gables. Roof sheathing is 7/16 OSB sheathing. (Gable siding is
not precut.) Roof pitch is 7/12. White pine trim is included for the
gable trim, fascia, door trim and corner trim. Trim
is unfinished, painting required.
The roof trusses and gables will be delivered by a local truss manufacturer. This will insure the trusses will meet your local building code. The standard truss is engineered for a ground snow load of 30 psf and a wind load of 90 mph. If your area requires a higher roof load and/or higher wind load a extra charge will be incurred.
Optional Doors are 15 lite steel entry doors, pre-hung
in a wood jamb with brickmold trim. Included are weather-stripping,
aluminum threshold and lockset. Doors are in-swing type.
About Our Siding
The siding is primed with vertical grooves 8" O.C.
for an attractive plank look. Manufactured by Louisianna-Pacific, constructed
from oriented strand board with a cedar texture embossed into the resin-saturated
overlay, free from knotholes and patches. Siding is treated with Composibor
(from US Borax) to prevent fungal decay and damage from insects. This
siding is primed and has a 50 year warranty with a 5 year labor replacement.
This siding looks best and lasts longest when finished with latex acrylic
paint. Vinyl shakes on roof gables by owner, not included in package.
Optional Roof Covering
Includes felt paper, metal roof edge, ridge vent
and GAF 30 year architectural style roof shingles and nails. See color
selection.
Window Options
A 28ื38 high double hung window
is offered. White finish with insulated glass and window grids between
the glass for easy cleaning. Price includes a pair of vinyl raised panel
paintable shutters.
Optional Cupola
Add the finishing touch with an attractive roof
cupola. We chose a 30ื30ื51 high for
this building. The cupola is constructed from weather-resistant pre-finished
polyethylene with a choice of color for the base and roof cap. The weather
vane is included with several choices. The cupola not only gives an
attractive look but also provides ventilation.
