Primed 3/8″ wood siding, with vertical grooves, creates an attractive plank look.
Smart Panel, manufactured by Lousiana-Pacific, creates the visual beauty of real wood with the strength and
durability of an engineered product.
The siding is made from wood strands, pressed into a resin saturated substrate, superior to plywood.
A cedar texture is embossed into the substrate, free from knot holes and patches. Other features include:
- Primed, ready for paint color of your choice. Latex acrylic paint recommended.
- Treated with Composibor (from U.S. Borax) prevents fungal decay and insect damage.
- Backed with a 50 year limited warranty.
North Dakota Shed Kit Elevations
Our trusses are engineered to handle severe snow load of 60 psf (pounds per square foot) and 130 mph wind loads.
For extra strength metal hurricane truss hangers are supplied to secure trusses to the exterior walls.

Optional Windows
Single hung aluminum 18″ x 36″ windows provide light and ventilation. Lockable frames are durable and easy to operate. Screens limit birds and insects. Decorative raised panel shutters are included.
Decorative octagonal gable windows illuminate interiors, beautify exteriors.
The North Dakota comes standard with a set of wood pocket doors with crossbuck design located on the 12′ wall. Pocket doors retract out of the way for easy entry. No swinging doors to get in the way of the entryway. The pocket door design provides smooth opening and keeps the weather out when closed and out of sight when open.
Optionally you may choose to upgrade to 15 lite French doors on the 12′ side.
Optionally you can purchase either a 9-lite or 6-panel in-swing steel door for additional entry. During construction you choose the location for this door.
Optional Floor
The deluxe floor includes 4×4 treated runners which gives support for the floor joists and allows you to set the foundation directly on grass. By raising the foundation above the ground the 4×4’s provide for air flow which eliminates moisture. The deluxe floor includes 4×4 treated runners, treated 2×4’s 16″ o.c. and 3/4″ plywood.
Nails are included. Floor requires cutting and assembly. Floor sheathing is not treated.

Below is information that your local permiting office may need prior to construction.
Please check with the permit office before purchasing.
Convenient home delivery is available anywhere in the lower 48 states.
This is called “curbside delivery” which will place the kit at the end of your driveway. It is not the driver’s responsibility to bring the product into your garage or yard. Drivers do not assist in unpacking or cleanup.
The freight carrier will call to schedule an appointment during normal business hours. Please provide a daytime phone number at check out. Someone will need to be present at the time of delivery. A signature is required.
Inspect the merchandise before the driver departs. If you notice any damage, make sure the driver indicates this on the delivery slip before you sign it.
