Prep for vinyl (OSB)
Vinyl siding is durable and easy to maintain.
Some storage sheds, barns and garages are available with OSB / prep-for-vinyl-siding.
In shed kits listed as vinyl prep, the pre-cut wall siding is OSB StructurWood
instead of LP SmartSide®. (Vinyl not included.)
In vinyl prep shed kits, all doors are sided with LP SmartSide®.
Wood siding (LP SmartSide®)
Wood-sided shed kits, garages and barns come with Louisiana-Pacific SmartSide® panel siding, typically pre-cut
for walls and doors.*
SmartSide® appears on a great many American homes for the same reasons

A pre-applied Composibor treatment (from Borax) prevents fungal decay and deters
wood-eating insects. This siding arrives pre-primed and ready for latex stain
