RBS Holdings LLC. manufacturer of Best Barns shed kits will replace any lumber that is not satisfactory. Upon discovery of damaged, defective or sub-standard material please contact us within 30 days of receipt of product to request a claims form. It is important to inspect and inventory items before beginning the build process. Please do not purchase parts such as dimensional lumber, hardware or sheathing without contacting us for assistance. We will review your request promptly and replace any material at no cost to you. Under no circumstances will compensation be paid for labor or time lost due to material needing replaced.

Return Policy

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not happy with your purchase, return it within 30 days for a full refund (minus outbound and return shipping costs). Some items may have a restocking fee. Contact us for details.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. You must return the item within 30 days of the order date.

Return Process:

  • Include all original paperwork.
  • The item must be unopened and unused.
  • You must provide photos of the unopened boxes.
  • We will issue a refund for the product price, minus any applicable restocking fees.
  • Shipping costs (both inbound and outbound) are non-refundable.
  • For orders with discounted or free shipping, you will be responsible for the original shipping cost and the return shipping cost.

Restocking Fees:

  • Best Barns charges a restocking fee of 25% for all orders returned in original packaging and without damage.
  • Please contact us for details on specific product restocking fees.

Order Cancellations:

  • To qualify for a full refund, order cancellations must be initiated before the item ships. If the item has already shipped and you wish to cancel, all applicable fees will apply.

Shipping

Shipping is free to all contiguous United States for all Best Barns products. Shipping is unavailable to AK, HI and any US territories or islands located off the mainland. Some areas withing the contiguous United States are considered remote access. Areas that may not be deliverable are accessible only by unimproved roads, obstructions such as trees or sharp turns, steep inclines, accessible only by ferry, etc. Please contact us prior to placing your order if you have any concerns with the location for the delivery.

Best Barns Storage and Garage kits are large items that may require more than one delivery. An appointment time will be made with you prior to delivery. Be aware that trucking companies will not hold freight on their docks for extended periods of time. Storage fees may be applied if items are not delivered promptly. These fees must be paid by the customer before items are released for delivery. All items are delivered “curbside”. Curbside means the driver will deliver at the end of your driveway by the road leading to your property. The driver is not responsible for unpacking and moving the contents into your property. We recommend having at least one additional individual who can assist the driver at time of delivery. It is important to visually inspect the items before signing the delivery receipt. If there is any indication of damage or missing items incurred during the transportation process please sign the delivery receipt stating either “Item damaged” or “Hidden damage subject to inspection”.
