Returns & Refunds
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you're not happy with your purchase, return it within 30 days of the order date for a refund of the product price, minus outbound and return shipping costs. Some items may be subject to a restocking fee — contact us for details.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging, and must be returned within 30 days of the order date.
Return process
- Include all original paperwork.
- The item must be unopened and unused.
- Provide photos of the unopened boxes.
- We'll issue a refund for the product price, minus any applicable restocking fees.
- Shipping costs (inbound and outbound) are non-refundable.
- For orders with discounted or free shipping, you are responsible for both the original shipping cost and the return shipping cost.
- Any missing or damaged parts not attributable to the delivery or manufacturing process will be charged to the purchaser.
Restocking fees
Best Barns charges a 25% restocking fee for all orders returned in original packaging and without damage. Contact us for details on specific product restocking fees.
Order cancellations
To qualify for a full refund, cancellations must be initiated before the item ships. If the item has already shipped and you wish to cancel, you are responsible for all outbound and return freight charges, plus any applicable fees.

Satisfaction Guarantee
RBS Holdings, LLC, manufacturer of Best Barns shed kits, will replace any lumber or hardware that is not satisfactory. Please inspect and inventory all items before beginning the build process. Upon discovering damaged, defective, or sub-standard material, contact us within 30 days of receipt to request a claims form. Please do not purchase replacement parts — such as dimensional lumber, hardware, or sheathing — on your own without contacting us first. We'll review your request promptly and replace any material at no cost to you. Under no circumstances will compensation be paid for labor or time lost due to material needing replacement.
