Shipping Policy

Shipping is free to all of the contiguous United States on all Best Barns products. We're unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or any U.S. territories or islands located off the mainland.

Delivery method

All Best Barns kits ship via common carrier and are delivered curbside. The delivery truck is equipped with a lift gate and pallet jack to off-load the kit to the end of your driveway. Drivers are not responsible for bringing the product into your garage or yard, or for unpacking and cleanup. We recommend having at least one additional person on hand to assist the driver at the time of delivery. Storage and garage kits are large items and may require more than one delivery.

Scheduling

The freight carrier will call to schedule a delivery appointment during normal business hours, so please provide a daytime phone number at checkout. Someone must be present to receive the delivery, and a signature is required. Appointment times are not guaranteed, as drivers may experience delays from traffic, longer unloading times at prior stops, equipment failure, and similar issues. Trucking companies will not hold freight on their docks for extended periods; storage fees may apply if items are not delivered promptly, and any such fees must be paid before items are released for delivery.

Inspect before signing

Inspect the merchandise before the driver departs and confirm you've received every item listed on the Bill of Lading. If you notice any damage or missing items, note it on the delivery receipt before signing — either "Item damaged" or "Hidden damage subject to inspection."

Remote or inaccessible locations

ShedKitStore.com is not responsible for restrictions that prevent a delivery from being completed. These include, but are not limited to, road weight limits, obstructions (single-lane roads, low-hanging wires, trees, dead ends, dirt or gravel roads, steep inclines, sharp turns), neighborhood association rules, or any other restrictions. If a delivery cannot be completed due to your location, the cost of outbound and return shipping will be deducted from your order credit. Locations that are remote — accessible only by ferry or boat, or in a mountain, remote desert, or similar area — may incur additional shipping charges, which are your responsibility. Please contact us before ordering if you have any concerns about a large truck accessing your property, or to determine whether your location is considered remote.
