The South Dakota prep for vinyl shed kit offers an attractive way to meet all your storage needs. Prep for vinyl means that the South Dakota exterior walls are covered with an OSB (Oriented Strand Board ) for the purpose of applying exterior siding of your choice. You may apply wood lap siding, stucco, vinyl siding or any exterior grade siding designed to be applied to an underlay. High side walls provide plenty of room to store tall items or add shelving to keep everything organized. Available in 12×12, 12×16 and 12×20 sizes you can find a size for all your storage needs. Featuring wood pocket doors giving the South Dakota a great looking appearance and functionality. No swinging doors to get in the way when accessing your tools and equipment.

South Dakota Shed Kit Elevations
This is a prep-for-vinyl shed kit. It is designed so you may apply an exterior grade siding such as vinyl, ship lap, cedar shakes, stucco, etc. This allows the homeowner to match the style of their home.
An underlay of OSB ( Oriented Strand Board ) is included for the purpose of attaching the siding you purchase locally.
Optional Windows
Single hung aluminum 18″ x 36″ windows provide light and ventilation. Lockable frames are durable and easy to operate. Screens limit birds and insects. Decorative raised panel shutters are included.
Decorative octagonal gable windows illuminate interiors, beautify exteriors.
The South Dakota comes standard with a set of wood pocket doors with crossbuck design located on the 12′ wall. Pocket doors retract out of the way for easy entry. No swinging doors to get in the way of the entryway. The pocket door design provides smooth opening and keeps the weather out when closed and out of sight when open.
Optionally you can purchase either a 9-lite or 6-panel in-swing steel door for additional entry. During construction you choose the location for this door.
Optional Floor
The deluxe floor includes 4×4 treated runners which gives support for the floor joists and allows you to set the foundation directly on grass. By raising the foundation above the ground the 4×4’s provide for air flow which eliminates moisture. The deluxe floor includes 4×4 treated runners, treated 2×4’s 16″ o.c. and 3/4″ plywood.
Nails are included. Floor requires cutting and assembly. Floor sheathing is not treated.

Below is information that your local permitting office may need prior to construction.
Please check with the permit office before purchasing.
Convenient home delivery is available anywhere in the lower 48 states.
This is called “curbside delivery” which will place the kit at the end of your driveway. It is not the driver’s responsibility to bring the product into your garage or yard. Drivers do not assist in unpacking or cleanup.
The freight carrier will call to schedule an appointment during normal business hours. Please provide a daytime phone number at check out. Someone will need to be present at the time of delivery. A signature is required.
Inspect the merchandise before the driver departs. If you notice any damage, make sure the driver indicates this on the delivery slip before you sign it.
